Direction Details
Directions to the Terminal
From I-80, use exit 93 and take IL-71 south toward Ottawa, approximately 2 miles. Then turn left onto N 2871st road and proceed .25 miles, and turn left onto 2753rd Road. Drive approximately 3 miles until you get to a set of railroad tracks, then turn right at the ADM Terminal. Please have your release number ready. This number is tied to your order and will be entered at the kiosks or provided to personnel at the scale. Find your release number in the Portal.
Scale House
Upon arrival, go past the main office sign and multiple warehouses on the right to get to the scale house. There are two scales — you can use either one. The scale operator can be reached on CB Channel 4 to report your information. If you do not have a radio, go to the northeast window with your information and tell the scale operator. Upon weighing in, and providing your information and release number to the operator, proceed off the scale and execute a U-turn past the scale.
Fertilizer Loading Shed
Proceed to the tower/blender for loading. An employee will be there to direct you through the tower. If loaded normally, the driver will receive a ticket and can proceed off the property — no need to return to the scale.
Scale House/Second Weigh-In
If the truck is loaded over the side by front-end loader, driver will need to return to the scale to reweigh and get a ticket.
Trailer Clean Out
A trailer clean out is available on the north end of the property near the railroad tracks. Signs are posted in the area.
